Puppy Training & Crate Training
Helping puppies develop good habits from the beginning is one of the best investments an owner can make. Our puppy training program focuses on building confidence, developing positive behaviours, and establishing a strong foundation for future training.
Training may include basic commands, appropriate socialization, handling, leash introduction, impulse control, bite inhibition, environmental exposure and general household manners.
Crate training is introduced as a positive and structured process, teaching the puppy to view the crate as a safe and comfortable space. Proper crate training can assist with house breaking, travel, rest periods and establishing a consistent routine.
House Breaking
Our house-breaking program helps dogs develop reliable bathroom habits and understand where and when they should relieve themselves.
Training focuses on establishing a consistent routine, recognizing signs that a dog needs to go outside, appropriate supervision, scheduled feeding and bathroom breaks, and positive reinforcement for desired behaviour.
The goal is to help owners establish habits that can be maintained long after training is completed.
Therapeutic & Companion Training
Not every dog is being trained for competition or protection. Some dogs simply need to become better companions.
Our therapeutic and companion training focuses on helping dogs develop calm, manageable and appropriate behaviour in everyday situations. Depending on the dog's individual needs, training may address anxiety-related behaviours, excessive excitement, confidence building, impulse control, appropriate social interaction and settling in the home or public environment.
Training programs are tailored to the individual dog and its owner's goals.
Obedience Training
Our obedience training establishes the communication and control necessary for a well-mannered dog.
Training can include commands such as sit, down, stay, come, heel, place and leave it, together with leash manners, recall, impulse control and appropriate behaviour around people and other dogs.
Whether you have a young puppy, an adult dog requiring additional structure, or a dog preparing for more advanced training, obedience provides the foundation for continued development.
Personal Protection
Our personal protection training is designed for dogs that are suitable for controlled protective work and whose owners have a legitimate need for a trained protection dog.
Training emphasizes obedience, control, handler communication, confidence, environmental stability and controlled protective responses. A protection dog must be able to respond appropriately to its handler and remain under control before, during and after a protective exercise.
Not every dog is suitable for personal protection training. Dogs are assessed for temperament, confidence, stability, obedience and suitability before advanced protection work is undertaken.
Property Protection
Property protection training is designed to develop a dog's ability to appropriately monitor and respond to activity around a designated property while remaining under reliable handler control.
Training may include boundary awareness, alert behaviour, obedience, controlled responses to unfamiliar activity and distinguishing normal household activity from situations requiring the handler's attention.
Our objective is not simply to produce an aggressive dog, but to develop a stable, responsive and controllable working dog capable of performing its role responsibly.

Boarding Facilities

When you cannot be with your dog, Magnumforce K-9 provides a supervised boarding environment where your pet can be cared for while you are away.
Our boarding facilities are supported by 24-hour camera surveillance, allowing the facility to be monitored around the clock. A caretaker is also on hand to provide supervision and attend to the dogs' needs, helping to ensure that your pet is not simply housed, but properly monitored throughout their stay.
Our boarding services are designed with your dog's comfort, safety and routine in mind. Each dog receives appropriate care, supervision, feeding and exercise according to the arrangements made with the owner.
